what does a sustainablE l'h looks like in 2040?
L'H 2040 is the fourth edition of The Future Innovation Lab, whose goals is to generate use cases with emerging technologies to build a better future. This year's challenge is to explore how technology can help us build more sustainable and liveable cities to improve citizens quality of life.
Why 2040?
The future is constantly being defined by the things we design in the present, therefore we believe that innovation is done better when we have a vision in mind.
What outcomes are we looking for?
We are looking for new ideas that help us start building towards the future city we want to live in: what systems, infrastructures, and narratives do we need to put in place to achieve so?
Who is it for?
Entrepreneurs, creatives, designers, technologists, students, retirees... anyone who is up for co-creating the future of L'H and making it a more sustainable city with the help of technology.
To learn more about the challenges, attend the LIVE MASTERCLASSES that will take place 8th and 22nd of November with real patients and professionals from Sant Joan de Déu, SickKids, and GOSH hospitals. RSVP here.
Applications open now till January 31st 2023!

the best thing about this hackathon?
We are not here for the buzz, but to actually develop high impact ideas that could likely be implemented at the three leading hospitals, Sant Joan de Déu, GOSH and Sick Kids in Barcelona, London and Toronto. Our hackathon is rooted in the pediatric hospital experience as teams will be guided by the expertise of patients, healthcare professionals, technologists and designers.
